£25 call out fee on my bill

Rich12
Dialled in

hi, i have posted this on the end of a other post but will also post it here.

I received my bill and paid it using vm quick pay, very useful, later on i checked my bill only to find a £25 service charge, looked at the reasons why i have being charged, non applied to me.

I called vm and asked why and what for have i being charged for, she reply's you had a engineer call out for a fault, yes, i replied, thats why, gob smacked does not cover it.

I asked do you think i would pay for your engineer to fix your equipment errr no.

I told her the engineer came to see why our phone did not work in the hub 5, solution, hub 5 faulty.

She had a word with her manager and the £25 is to be credited to my account, she did apologise for the mistake, but how many of you just pay your bill and don't check?

Moral of this, simple, check your bill before you pay it, you just might pay more than you need to.

Rich

Hi Rich12,

Thank you for your post. I'm very sorry to hear about the charge on your bill.

I'm glad to hear that the agent you spoke with was able to remove that for you.

Same thing has just happened to me. Looks like an hour trying to get through to Virgin to get it sorted.

Hi there Spodney,

Welcome to the community.

Can I ask regarding this, have you recently had a technician appointment?

Let us know,
