Re: voip

The easiest way to get a hold of someone is to message our first-line support on our live online chat. They are the best chance of getting someone to fix this issue.

If I've helped in any way, please give me Kudos and mark my response as a helpful answer!

Fancy £50 off your bill? Ask me how and you might just get it!

I am a serving Field Technician at Virgin however all responses on here are based on my experiences in the field alone and my own equipment at home and should be taken as such

Here to help! I'm a technician helping out whilst working from home. Find out more

@horleygirl46

That reply from the VM tech will have left you none the wiser. Not very helpful at all and if you follow his advice you would have put an unnecessary question to the live chat service that thy could well do without at this time of severe pressure caused by the virus emergency. So please don't do it.  VM have said that the transition to an internet based phone service run through VM's Hub (as I understand it, it is not a true VOIP service but very close to one) will take place by 2025. Each customer will be notified as the roll out takes place in their area. Irrespective of which area you are in now all new VM landlines are provided in the new way. Hope that helps.
