voicemail

My home phone voicemail 1571 service does not have a pin number protection. on investigation it is only the paid version voice mail plus that has pin protection, as banks can use the voice mail for messages, codes etc it a possible security risk then?

to upgrade , looking at my package it would be £21 extra to get voice mail (monthly) customer,  but only £2 for 12 month contract, already paying £74. I can not find a price for voicemail plus.

the free voicemail may not be secure, could it be hacked if no pin.

activated mine by dialling 1571, but also have my own answer phone.

Is this a dangerous security loophole?

Re: voicemail

Hi ALF28,

Thank you for your post. My apologies if you weren't aware of the voicemail options.

If you do wish to upgrade to the paid service you would need to call in on 150/0345 454 1111.
