Hi there @Bobd1, welcome to our forum and thanks for your post.

When your line is being switched over you would get a text or email notifying you of the date the service is due to be switched over. Have you had the adapter sent to you yet?

If so, I would recommend plugging this in to see if this helps with getting your landline working.

we haven't had text or email with a date. Yes, we received the adaptor a while ago. Will try it later. Thanks

Did you receive anything else in the package along with the adapter? For example, did you receive a leaflet like this one 👉 Switchover_Migration_Leaflet.pdf (virginmedia.com) with instructions on how to arrange or complete the switchover?
