no dial tone on land line

Hi Ashleigh,

thank you for replying to earlier message i'm so sorry I accidently deleted your message.

No dial tone on land line.

The socket being used is the main telephone socket and we only have the telephone attached to it no other equipment.

Yes have tried two different phone cordless and corded but no dial tone on either.

If i ring the landline number from mobile its ring out on mobile but not on landline in house.
