new installation soon, Transfer Landline Telephone Number to Virgin Media

Hi,

I am a new VirginMedia customer with Broadband and Landline Telephone.

I want to ensure my Landline number gets transferred to VirginMedia.

The installation is scheduled to be next week.

Welcome aboard it's great to have you join us 

How did you sign up 

If online you would have been given the option of bringing the number over 

If by phone our Sales Agents should have asked 

Is your current landline still active, if so please keep it active for as long as possible 

Numbers can take up to 10 days to be carried over once we activate your account

Hello Gareth_L,

Thank you for the information.

I got the VirginMedia 'M100 Broadband and Telephone offer' from the moneysavingexpert .com (Martin Lewis's) website. >

Then I was redirected to the VirginMedia's official website where I entered all infomation (including my landline number) to officially

sign up to VirginMedia via the VirginMedia webpage.

Hopefully, next week when the VIrginMedia engineer comes to my house to install it, my landline number will be transferred over to 

VirginMedia smoothly.

We do hope that your installation goes well; please do let us know how it goes. The technician may have to call our telephone department at the time of the install to complete the number port - they will have all the details on their device. 

 

You may experience a delay of around 24 hours with incoming calls whilst the transfer takes place - remember, we can only port the number over from your old provider if it remains active with your old provider. 

 

Keep us posted and let us know if you need any help once you've been installed.
