loss of caller id and 1471 facility after repair

Have recently had home phone repair and have notice we have no caller id or 1471 facility.  If you dial 1471 there is message line does not support this facility.  I have spoken to customer services and they have said it is my telephone but have checked at a family members house who have virgin phone line and both work fine at there.

Can anyone help

Welcome to the forums and thank you for taking the time to post. 

 

I am sorry to hear that you have had some issues with your 1471 and caller display. 

 

We can certainly take a further look into this,  are you able to confirm for me is your landline connected though the hub or via the traditional wall socket?
