we have developed a sudden fault with our landline. The BT phone is showing in the display - Please check the line cord
We cannot currently make or receive calls. I have rebooted the phones and checked the internal cables for the house and all seems to be in order.

From the message showing on your phone it sounds like this may need an engineer appointment.
