landline problems

Hi  I need help please  I am unable to make or receive calls on my landline.  How do I fix this problem

Sorry to hear your landline isn't working.

There's no issues from the system check done, please could you confirm that your landline is plugged into the telephone port one on the router?

Yes it is plugged into port 1 on the router

Please can you unplug it for me, then unplug the router itself. Leave for two minutes, before replugging both in. Let me know if that fixes it.
