landline down

my landline is down, tried a different phone, and followed the online guide has made no difference. called and been told there is servicing happening in my area but is said that 2 months ago when I had broadband issues plus now my landline has been down for 3 weeks cant make calls or receive calls but I'm still being charged for it even though it doesn't work.

I am sorry to hear that you have had some issues with your landline, Are you able to let me know how your handset is connected?

It is connected from the wall to the phone, tested with another phone calls still don't work.
