Re: how much would it cost to get my landline extended into my garage

Hello

This will depend how the landline is supplied is it supplied by the hub or by a Virginmedia brand master phone socket ?

Normally for non fault callouts Virginmedia would charge £99, you may find a 3rd party company that will do the work for you cheaper.

Regards Mike

VM will charge you £99. Local electricians, TV aerial installers & the like may charge less for the same job (it is classed as your property not VMs, & VM will only repair it FOC for a limited period if they install it).

There are also 2 other options:

1) Do some research on the internet, buy the kit from B&Q etc & do it yourself for next to nothing.

2) Buy some DECT cordless handsets. These have multiple handset bases that only require a power supply & most can operate at a range of 30 - 50 metres from the master socket base station without problems.

VM BB TV Landline PAYG mobile. Freeview/Freesat HD, Tesco Mobile. Customer since 1993
