home phoneline dead for 3 weeks

how on earth do i book an engineer to fix the phonline. the call centres are closed and the website is really the worst customer service experience i've ever witnessed. why can't u book an engineer online. virgin is hardly inexpensive and this should be standard.

so i'm here out of desperation as i can see no other alternative.

the home phoneline has been dead for 3 weeks. when i phoned it from a mobile it is constantly engaged.

is there any chance of an engineer coming tomorrow or monday. or virgin to at least acknwledge the problem?

I'm really sorry that you've been without a phone line for 3 weeks. I can understand that you'd like to get this fixed as soon as possible.

 

Do you have a dial tone at all?

 

Are you able to try a different handset to see if that makes a difference?

no, the phone is dead but keeps getting an engaged signal when i phone it from a mobile.

the automated system status says there is nothing wrong so for now can i have my calls from my homeline transferred to my mobile?

 

i really need these calls
