home phone changeover date is 25th july. hub in a different room to phone adapter. I need a technician to run a cable in order to link to hub

Engineer called today (Saturday 22nd July) at 11.32. My wife was sitting in the main lounge awaiting! Unknown to either party was that there had been an intermittent fault with virgin broadband, and my home mesh was now not working properly. That took out both my camera system and my RING doorbell. Had the engineer knocked on the door, he would have been received immediately. I now need to rebook a visit. Please advise next possible date

Monday morning; changeover 25th - tomorrow - what happened to engineer appointment arrangement?
House alarm also runs off the plug which becomes redundant unless wiring work done! Please expedite
