fibre phone switcherover

Hi. I was wondering if someone can help. Like numerous others on here, i received an email saying an adapter would be sent out and then the following day i received a letter saying i would need a new hub. i already have the Hub 3 which has the phone ports. I was told a Quick install kit would be sent out and that an engineer would need to come out. The only reason i can think of for the engineer visit is because i was asked about additional handsets and an extension socket was mentioned. I tried to explain that i have cordless phones and from my understanding only the main handset needs plugged into the hub so an extension socket is not required. I have had a look at orders and appointments on the app and there is nothing there. I'm confused.
