disable voicemail on landline

I would like to turn off the voicemail on my landline.

1571 does not give me the option and I cannot access my phone options through my account online (it sends me to Virgin Mobile instead and I do not have a Virgin mobile).

Currently callers hear the standard greeting and - think they - can leave messages but I cannot access them so it's not working properly.

Irrespective of those problems, I don't want voicemail enabled in any case.

Hello Carly - Can I suggest that your website team correct the link.
The Landline link for Voicemail goes to the Mobile section.

It sounds like it needs replacing with a message saying contact us.  
(Strange because usually this kind of feature can be managed by dialling codes).

Just to help us do so would you be able to confirm the webpage link in a reply? We will then ensure this is raised correctly. 

Customers should be able to manage their own landline features via 1571, however it's worth noting that some are not compatible with eachother, and there are also a few which incur a charge when active. You can read more about them in our handy phone guide here. 

If you do ever have an issue with a landline feature and you are unable to resolve it via 1571 you can get in touch with us by dialling 150 from your Virgin Media home phone or mobile, or 0345 454 1111 from any other phone. You can also text on +44753 305 1809 and WhatsApp us on +44753 305 1809.

Hi

I would like to turn off the voicemail on my landline. we do not use the service and it interferes with calls that we are expecting due to the 5 ring window to answer the phone as I any my spouse are both disabled and we do not always reach the phone in time to answer
