digital switchover - advice on suitable new phones please

Our digital switchover will be completing soon. We have already had the adaptor put into our hub and decided we'd rather buy new phones to use, because getting virgin to get us ready would involve too much work - moving out bookcases, drilling through walls, running cables etc. Just need advice on what might be the best phones to buy - 3 handsets, cordless, that's about it! Any advice gratefully received!

I use Panasonic Gigaset DECT phone, the base station does not have a handset so can be easily located where the VM hub is located. I have 6 handset about the house and outside in the gazebo. Please note that the ‘new’ VM system is not VoIP, it’s just the old phone system, but signal being provide over the broadband cable instead of a separate cable.
