changing phone number

Hi

I have a new Virgin account and I had asked to transfer my old telephone number. Instead I got a new one. How do I get my old one back -- it still works as I have had to keep my old provider until this is sorted.

Can you please advise me if you requested this when signing up for Virgin Media?

 

We would need to seek to request this from the holder of the phone number to have this transferred over. 

 

Both phone lines would need to be active for this to be completed

Yes,

I asked the man Thomas about it as it was a requirement of moving to a new supplier.

Both numbers are active.
