Why does the line cut off when I dial an 09 number from house?

Why can't I get through to 09 numbers via landline? The line goes dead.

Hi nicolledee89,

Welcome to the community and thank you for your post.

09 numbers are premium numbers. Do you have a premium call back on your landline services?

When you took out services there might have been a premium bar placed on the account - stopping the line calling premium numbers.

Or you may have requested it as some point.

Apologies nicolledee89.

That was meant to say Premium call Bar.

As explained by Wez it stops your line being able to call premium numbers.

Do you remember any conversations like this?
