Why does caller display miss last 2 digits off

Both our old landline phone, and the new one we've had to buy when the old one died, show the number that's calling, but without the last 2 digits of the number, and can't find a way to fix this.

Both are compatible according to Virgin's website.

Any ideas/help please?

Thanks

Caller Id data is transmitted from the telephone exchange or from the VM Hub during the time the phone is ringing.

As both the old and the new phones are missing the last 2 digits of the caller's number, that could suggest the final 2 digits are not present in the Caller Id data.

I wonder if the folks near by are seeing the same situation and it is an issue that affects your locality.

It is a very strange fault.
