Where's my old number I asked to be transferred?

I joined Virgin from Sky on 21/11 and on signing up had asked for my existing telephone number of 20 years which is on business cards and everything, to be ported over.

On the day the engineer was here, he was very nice but a little vague on the telephone number not having transferred and said it could take a few days longer.

Nothing happened so I did an online chat a couple of times but as this is not instant answers and having had lengthy waits and questions I wasn't getting very far.

Out of the blue, I then got a text to say my number would be transferred on 04/12. 

Happy days, however, it's now the 05th and old number is still unobtainable.

 

Can someone please help!

Sorry to hear you're having issues with your number port @LaylaNK

Can you please confirm that this is a landline you're referring to?

I've been looking after the number port request whilst Lee is away and can confirm the good news that it's been completed successfully. I've completed the remaining activities and the provisioning is successful. Please check the landline and let us know if there are any issues.

Lee has been amazing and I really appreciate both your help with resolving this issue.

I tested the phone and all seems well.
