When I call a number in france they can’t hear me. It’s not the handset.

Hi Bikkikj,

Really sorry you're having some issues with being heard when making a call, this isn't good.

Can you just advised if this is when you're ringing from a landline or mobile phone?

You advised numbers in France and UK mobile numbers have this issue, how about if you call another landline?

Are you able to try the handset in another socket at all if it's a landline?

Keep us posted

Landline only.

Yes its landline in France and Im a ringing a UK mobile (also in france). The landline in france they cant hear me (I cn hear them). The Mobile doesnt even connect. Coincidentlay its a virgin Uk mobile number.

I have two handsets problem persists with both handsets. I have two docks with their own socket that they are plugged into. Not sure what you mean by socket but I only have the one "line " in from outside.

Re: When I call a number in france they can’t hear me. It’s not the handset.

I am having the same problem.

When I call a landline in France the recipient answers and I can hear them speaking but they can't hear me.

I have tried to call various landline numbers in various parts of France.

This happens from my Virgin Media landline and also from my Virgin Mobile and my son's Virgin Mobile handset. I do not have any problem when I call using my partner's EE mobile phone. It must be a Virgin issue.

This has been happening for at least three weeks but initially it was intermittent. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't. In the last week it has happened every time I try to call.
