Virgin phone line

When installing a VM bundle many years ago I decided, for various reasons , to keep my BT line in the house. Its separate from my VM.

I now find it would be best to consolidate down to one line and would want VM to discard its telephone number connected to my bundle and takeover my existing BT line and existing long held number.

Does anyone have experience of this , or is it even possible?

some friends suggest VM would mess it up and I would lost the number as this has happened some with a simple installation.

Re: Virgin phone line

should be possible but why should you want to pay a monthly rental for a landline. You can move the number to a VOIP provider for almost no cost

Thank you for taking the time to reach out,

So long as the BT landline is active we are able to take this over.

Kind regards

Re: Virgin phone line

i use sipgate.co.uk.
Get a cheap sip phone and transfer the number. Then its PAYG if you want to make calls. Just top it up.
Its free aster you pay the setup fee to transfer the number.
