You could buy a cordless phone set, place the master unit next to hub and then satellite phones wherever else you want them

If I put the master phone upstairs in my bedroom can I mute the ringer tone so that it doesn’t ring the tone and leave the ringer tone on downstairs

Hi @Jashraf86,

Welcome back to our community forums and thank you for your first posts.

Sorry to hear you have been having issues regarding the placement and arrangement of your landline switchover https://community.virginmedia.com/t5/Virgin-Phone-Switchover/gh-p/Switchover. As mentioned by @jb66, you should be able to use cordless landline devices as an alternative. Depending on the device brand, you may be able to mute the ringer. Please let us know if you need any further help.

Thanks,

Yes you can mute the vase ringer and handset ringer on the master unit leaving the slave unit(s) to ring
