Hello Virgin Media community,

I have a query regarding the transfer of landline numbers. 

I am have to cancel my VM account at one property, but want to keep the current landline number and transfer it to my son's VM account at a different address. He as VM broadband but no landline.

Is this possible? And if yes, what is the best way to go about it? They have just been sending me in circles over the phone

This is not porting (ie. the same person keeping the same number when moving to a DIFFERENT provider). You have no rights to give a number to someone else, so its unlikely VM will entertain it.

I'm afraid we would not be able to transfer your landline number to a different account holder at another address.
