Virgin has failed to transfer our landline number over. Tried a few options to get this resolved via message service who confirmed that they would be able to port the number over but few days later another message came in saying that they couldn't.
Raised a complaint and received letter today confirming that Virgin had failed to comply with request and to phone technical support - no answer from that section. I see that a number of other posts have been made re this subject but don't see that any have been resolved.
Is there a way another way to get our old phone number back.
Thanks for your post and for reaching out to the Community Forums. Sorry to hear that the number transfer didn't happen. Did the team advise why the transfer wasn't able to be processed? Are you able to confirm if the service originating provider who has the number is still active? This might be a possible reason.
