We moved over to Virgin from sky today and we are yet to have our phone number moved over. The sky number/contract is still active - how would we get this moved to Virgin?

I did request the number to be moved but we then received a message advising this couldn’t be done?
Unfortunately they just advised that the number has been disconnected from our current provided (Sky contract doesn’t end for another week). I also confirmed with sky who have advised the number is still active on their end

Have you ensured there isn't a disconnect order on the landline connection with the number active on?
