Transfer home number

We moved over to Virgin from sky today and we are yet to have our phone number moved over. The sky number/contract is still active - how would we get this moved to Virgin?

did you request the number port when ordering?

You'd have to contact CS to arrange this

I did request the number to be moved but we then received a message advising this couldn’t be done?

Unfortunately they just advised that the number has been disconnected from our current provided (Sky contract doesn’t end for another week). I also confirmed with sky who have advised the number is still active on their end

have you asked sky to cancel your sky account?
If so that will make the port fail

The line has to be active without any disconnection order on the line.

you will have to ask sky to cancel the disconnection and wait until VM have ported the number
