This number has not been recognised

My mother gets this error message when trying to phone her GP surgery from her Virgin landline. The number works from my mobile, and other landlines and mobile numbers work from her landline. Thanks.

Re: This number has not been recognised

Good morning @NedHarrison

Welcome to the forums and thank you for taking the time to post.

I am sorry to hear that your mum has had some issues with your services.

So that I can assist you further, please could you advise how the landline is connected to our services? Is this via the traditional wall socket?

Kind regards,]

Zak_M

Thank you Zac, yes it's via a wall socket.

Re: This number has not been recognised

Are you able to pass DPA on your mothers behalf?

I would like to try and get this resolved.

Kind regards,

Re: This number has not been recognised

Sorry - DPA?

I've just spoken to their helpline (posted here before finding the number). On their advice I've tried unplugging it at the wall. That seems to have helped, unless it's just intermittent.

Thanks for your help.
