My mother gets this error message when trying to phone her GP surgery from her Virgin landline. The number works from my mobile, and other landlines and mobile numbers work from her landline. Thanks.

So that I can assist you further, please could you advise how the landline is connected to our services? Is this via the traditional wall socket?

Are you able to pass DPA on your mothers behalf?

I've just spoken to their helpline (posted here before finding the number). On their advice I've tried unplugging it at the wall. That seems to have helped, unless it's just intermittent.
