Their is a lot of dodgy messages and calls being made at the minut I would always suggest log into my virgin media app to second check anything. Also message virgin through what's app always double check

This certainly does sound like a scam call, we would not call customers advising this. I would advise checking here to see more information on how to deal with fraudulent calls.
