Received the following message on text from +44 7[REMOVED]
Anyone know if it's genuine or not?
Hi, it's Virgin Media. On 14th February 2024, your home phone service will be switched to our fibre network. We'll send you an adapter(s) as you need to connect your home phone to the Virgin Media Hub so you can continue using it. Reply with ACCEPT to be switched over or with CALLBACK if you need help.

Hi @alsy1971, thank you for your post.
In order to answer your query, we'll send you a private message on here. Look out for the envelope in the top right-hand corner.
If you're on a portable device with a smaller screen, click on the icon in the top right-hand corner and select "messages" from the additional menu options.
Regards,
Daniel

That looks like a genuine message, it's the same as sent out to a few other users recently who've been switched.
I also can't see anything in that message that a scammer would have to gain from.
I'm a Very Insightful Person, I'm here to share knowledge, I don't work for Virgin Media. Learn more
