Was advised by vm that problem was my old Panasonic phones so have just bought new Panasonic phones. Problem remains with humming and echo on both outgoing & incoming calls. Base unit is connected to hub via an adapter. Vm says phone line is ok but clearly not. I'm now considering switching to BT.

Thank you for reaching out to us in our community and welcome, sorry to hear you are still facing the same issue with a new handset, have you tried plugging the phone in the 2nd socket on the adaptor?

There is no phone line at all when plugged into the second port.

Thanks Sue for trying this, can you plug it back in the top and do a pin reset on the router, push a pin in the reset hole at the back, keep pushed in for a timed 1 minute.

What colour is your hub light?

I lost Internet connection to everything & had to re-connect to everything that uses wifi. My security camera is still out of order as I now have to find someone willing to climb up ladder & reset camera. Virgin are working in my postcode this week so I will wait & see if there is a difference afterwards before requesting an engineer.

The phone line is still terrible - humming & metallic echo. I'm paying for a service where neither outgoing or incoming calls can be heard clearly!
