Telephony disabled

Hi,

I have searched this forum for answers and still having issues - we had an engineer out who suggested we plugged our phone in to our hub 4 once we received the phone splitter which we did but getting the message check phone cord.  Signed into our hub and it comes up telephony Disabled?

Tried to get through to customer services is like winning the lotto - cannot get past the options.

 

Is there a fix for this as my current phone line is damaged and thought plugging into hub4 would have been easy
