Talk More Anytime

Can anyone please verify that I have to pay for any calls I make once I go over 1000 minutes a month. My phone is plugged into a wall socket and my phone contract is 'Talk More Anytime'. Thanks

The restriction on Talk More Anytime is 60 inclusive minutes per call (01, 02, 03 & standard mobile numbers).

Redial before 60 minutes are up to avoid incurring charges.

Calls to 0870 & 0845 numbers are limited to 1000 inclusive minutes or 150 calls per 30 day charging period.

Thanks for the fast reply nodrogd.

I have been charged for several local landline calls 0115 Nottingham numbers and was told any call over 1000 minutes per month is an extra charge.

We are on TMA as well & use more than 1000 minutes a month. We are never charged. The only thing you have to watch out for is the 60 minute rule.

Hi @newuser_1 thanks for your post here in the Community.

As per our Call Charges info here, you will be able to see that going over 1000 minutes is over our fair usage policy and may be chargeable after this time.

This is visible on page 6, highlighted by the small 3 next to where this is relevant on the graphs.

When you check the bottom of the table on page 6, you'll see the small 3 states our fair usage policy and 1000 minutes.

I hope this helps.

Many thanks

Thanks for additional info, I definitely didn't go over the 60 minute rule, the calls I was charged for are all less than 5 minutes and 01 numbers. Looks like I'll have to keep contacting VM until I talk to someone more intelligent. Glad you're here to tell me the truth.

Hi @newuser_1 thanks for your reply here, I do apologise to hear of your issues.

Please allow me to send you a PM so I can look into this further for you.

Kindly expect the PM to arrive shortly and respond directly when you can!
Many thanks

Thanks also for your replies Tom, I was waiting for a reply on whatsapp and VM have now agreed to waive the usage charges on the bill in question, thankfully, but I'll have to stay alert when my next bill arrives as the person I got through to didn't appear to understand some of the rules herself?

Could you please let me know if you think I should have been charged for local calls which were not 08 numbers, did not require an area code, and were less than 5 minutes? Thanks

Hi @newuser_1 thanks for your reply - great to hear we've sorted this for you.

I can't comment on the specifics here due to data protection, but if you could kindly reply to my PM and we can swiftly clear security, I'll be able to take a look into this for you and hopefully put your concerns at ease here and explain what's happened.

Many thanks
