You could but you probably won't save money as your BB solo price will go up

Yes that is correct if you changed your landline to another provider, you could cancel your line rental with us. As @jb66 stated that it might not save you money depending on the bundle that you have with us if this will save money or not.

The maximum saving you have ever got from dropping a landline is around £5 a month due to the loss of discounts on other services.  Depending on your package you may gain nothing at all. The only real advantage you would get is if you had a second line with VM & changed it, as second lines are not discounted.
