Switching land line early

My landline has gone faulty with no dial tone so I tried to get my line switched early .

I thought that would be simple as my wireless base station is right next to my Hub 3

They want a engineer to visit to do it  just to plug a cable in..

I dont even need a adapter as my base station has a RJ11 plug

It’s not plugging in a cable to make it work, it needs reconfiguration at the VM end of your cable. Maybe you local VM ‘exchange’ is not yet ready for the changeover.

But does that need a engineer to visit??

The switch over is next month

Hello edam

Thanks for your post regarding the switchover.

As a rule we will switch over customers area by area remotely at a set date.

If we need to switch this over as a one off then it will need an engineers visit.

I can take a look to see what date you are planned to change.

If you don't mind, I will need to send you a private message to pass security.
If you can check the Logo top right of your screen that would be great.

Thanks for replying

As the landline phone is now working ,there was a power outage in the area, I will wait for it to be changed over next month.

BUT it looks like my package has been changed because I reported a fault !!!!!!

Can you please pop back on here and let us know how things go.

Talk International 2 was added but I did not ask for that

Thanks edam for replying.

I can take the call feature off for you.

If you can reply to the private message I sent that would be great.
