Switched to fibre phone no letter

After being sent an adaptor for my home phone I received no instructions or letter as seemed to be the common thread. 

Could someone please tell me how to get this service activated as I can't sit through the phone call to the help line where it tells me it's running a test just for it to tell me uts taking longer than usual and then keep going round the same loop over amd over again....

Thank you for reaching out to us in our community and welcome, sorry to hear you haven't been able to get the help you need around our Landline switchover, I was able to locate you on our system with the details we have for you and can see you haven't been switched over yet, once this has been done the landline will stop working and you can connect the adaptor to the Router and attach your phone, if you do need any further support please do not hesitate to reach back out.
