Switched to Voip phone line but no service

Hi, I was switched by an Virgin Engineer to the new Voip phone service at home

However, when i pick up the phone I hear silence and when I call in I hear a line engaged tone.

The phone is plugged into the correct router port and I've restarted the router repeatedly.

Can anybody advise?

I'm so sorry to hear that you're having some issues with your landline service following the switchover. Are people able to call you at all? If not, what trouble do they have?

Hi Zach, nobody is able to call me. They just hear an engaged tone. The phone my end is silent no dial tone.
