Swap phone number

I am currently on the Ultimate Oomph package and am looking to move my landline number (which I use for my small business) over to an alternative full VOIP service.

I know unlimited calls etc is a part of my service and I’m happy to continue that but with a new number.

If I request my current number to be ported out will I be allocated a new number on my virgin service automatically or will the line be disconnected and broadband and tv continue.

Hi stevemorgan, thanks for your post,

 

When you port out your landline number to an external provider, it does cancel the phone portion of the service.

Hi Steven, 

 

Yes, it would. If there is a discount being applied to the overall bundle and the nature of that bundle changes then the discount would also change or drop off.

You're welcome, Steve. If you currently aren't in contract then it would be best to give them a ring and see what alternative packages and offers can be applied.

I’m in contract but the move over to the new fibre phone service (which doesn’t suit my needs) says I can leave 

so hopefully we can sort something out
