Superhub 4 doesn't work

When I connect the new Superhub 4 it doesn't work.  The lights come on as expected and I've waited for 20 minutes.  It appears on the WiFi list of my phone, laptop and other devices but shows as "No Internet".  If I reconnect the Superhub 2 that works as before.

I've waited several hours for Virgin support both on the phone and webchat but received no response.

Does anyone have any tips for fixing the Superhub 4?  Or any way of extracting any form of support from Virgin?

If the SH2 works when you plugged it back in then that means the SH4 hasnt been activated

How do I get it activated?  I have tried calling Virgin but nobody ever answers.

Thanks for posting and sorry to hear you've had some issues with the hub 4 setup.

 

Can you confirm if you were able to get this activated since your post yesterday?

No.  I'm still not able to use the Hub 4.

If it needs activating then how do I do this? 

I've tried calling the "support" line but it's a waste of time - nobody ever answers.  I've tried the "webchat" - nobody ever answers.

The instructions just say to plug it in and wait for 10 minutes but this doesn't work.

I can't just keep retrying the hub as my wife and I are both working from home.

Hello

To activate your equipment call 0800 953 9500 with the hub 4 connected to the cable and turned on.
