Good afternoon my router says telephony disabled , my home phone I cant hear anything , I've tried a new lead and phone and still same problem , can I use the hub too link my phone , do I need virgin to enable this?

Just to confirm if you plug the landline directly into your wall socket do you get a dial tone?
Good morning Martin, I can faintly here it and when the phone number dials , but nothing then , I've tried a new phone in the test port and new lead can I use the telephone port on the sh3
