Superhub 3 Telephony disabled

Tried a landline phone on the only wall sockets we have and nothing is going through. Used an RJ11 to RJ11 cable into the back of the Hub like suggested on the app yet the Hub is saying Telephony is disabled.

Would like a working landline even if to just phone VM for free.

A very warm welcome to the forums and thank you so much for your post, I hope you have managed to find your way around okay? 

 

I am sorry to hear that you haven't been able to get your landline up and running. 

 

I have just taken a quick look over your account to see if there are any outages in your area.  I can't currently see any at them moment.  I have noticed that your landline is set up though the traditional wall socket and not via the hub. 

 

When it is attached to the wall socket, are you getting any dial tone?  Are you able to try another handset to rule out it being a handset issue?

I am getting no tone on either socket on either of the two phones we have.

Thank you for coming back to me. 

 

We are going to need to get an engineer to come and take a look over things. 

 

I have taken the opportunity to book this for the next available appointment, to find out when this is and to make any changes if  needed you can visit your my virgin media account.

Thank you. Is there no way to switch it over to the Superhub system to save the hassle?
