Hi,
After speaking with a Virgin Advisor on the phone on Friday 16th Dec & getting help from an advisor in this forum yesterday, both saying that my caller display function had been re-instated, I still have no caller display. Anyone have any other advice how to get this problem sorted out. I am really getting annoyed now; surely this is something that can be easily sorted. Do I need to get an engineer out?

We're sorry to hear of the caller display feature fault on your VM landline currently, appreciate the frustration caused as you've had to speak on the phone and on our forum page with our team to get this resolved.
We'd love to help, as you spoke to one of my forum colleagues yesterday and they confirmed that has been re-added it may take up to 24 hours for the feature to work again.
Could you please pop us a message back here this afternoon and let us know in case caller display is still not on?
Alternatively, you may message back our forum advisor that added this for you yesterday so they can follow up from there and assist further.
This way you don't have to go through checks you've already made with them before, if that makes sense.
Do let us know in case you need further assistance, we'd be eager to support you.

Hi Adri,
Many thanks for your reply & I will do as you suggest.
I have just unplugged my phone connection from the wall socket & will plug back in later to see if all is working.
I will get back to the original person who replied on here cos as you say, it will save having to go through security again.

The caller display is still not working & a friend has just called me, approx 6:30pm today, 19th Dec.
I have just sent a message to the previous advisor as you suggested.
This problem has been ongoing since last week & I am extremely annoyed it has not been sorted out.
I hope your other advisor replies to my message.
Is it possible I need to get an engineer to come out to check the box in the street?????

Hi Paul,
Everything else on my landline phone is working fine. It's just the caller display which means I cannot tell who is calling me & I have to answer all calls even the spam rubbish cos I can't see who is calling. I also cannot see if I have missed calls when I've been out cos the call log shows empty as the caller display is obviously not logging the calls.
It is very annoying & frustrating for me. The first forum advisor has still not got back to me yet from Sunday. I think I will have to try phoning Virgin again tomorrow to see if they will have to send an engineer to check the outside/street box.
