Setting up landline via Hub 3 box

Today my hardware was upgraded to a Hub 3 and a V6 box. My broadband speed is now up to 200. My download speeds went form 5 mbps to 150 and my upload speeds from 12 to 20. My ping went from 50/100 to around 5-10 ms. Before, catch-up, if it every worked, suffered from incessant buffering. Now if appears to be quite fast and the signal no longer breaks up.

Due to the inconvenient placing of my landline phone sockets I wish to use the Hub 3 as the connection point for my phones.

Physically moving the phones is not a problem.

What do I need to do to get the system to recognize my phone connection via the Hub 3?

Re: Setting up landline via Hub 3 box

When you access your HUB using http://192.168.0.1 and login what does the 'Telephony' section say on the main page?

Re: Setting up landline via Hub 3 box

Thanks for the quick and helpful reply.

The router webpage tells me that the telephone is not enabled.

Re: Setting up landline via Hub 3 box

You can't self swap from a separate landline to Hub based one at the moment. That's down to Virgin Media to arrange.

So if you have a separately provisioned landline you have to continue to use that unless you're advised differently by Virgin Media.
