The issue was that the SIM card that Virgin Media sent out to me was not activated hence why the handsets that I tested the SIM card in would not connect to the network. I am pleased to confirm that after speaking with Customer Services they were able to manually activate the SIM card and the service is now working.
I read awhile back that Virgin Media were deactivating all PAYG SIM cards however; I am unable to find any reference to this now, does this mean that Virgin Media has now postponed deactivating all PAYG SIM cards? If this were to happen again in the future would all Customers receive a notification prior to their service being disconnected?
I should be most grateful for your clarification on the above points.
