Retaining home phone original number on new contract
Having taken out a new contract which I specified that I wanted to keep my existing phone number, I would appear to have a temporary home phone number when I connect to the VOIP port on my hub. As I cannot find a person from VM to talk to, can anyone tell me when I am likely to have my original phone number back? As a previous customer, I find the customer service now to be somewhat lacking compared to what it was a few years ago. This could be resolved by being able to talk to someone rather than an automated answering service that gives you no answers, and keeps puting you into ever increasing loops which is frustrating and is of no help whatsoever.
