Landline Not allowing outgoing calls

Hello

my elderly aunt is having the same problem. She can’t make outgoing calls, keeps ringing virgin and not getting anywhere . She was told someone would come and she would receive a text message. She has a mobile but just uses it for emerg envy calls. It is a very basic Nokia.  I found the message for her from virgin and it had a link on for her to click to arrange a visit. This is ridiculous. Her mobile can’t connect to the internet…..
