Process for porting BT landline number to VM

Hi,

I have a VM landline phone & a BT landline phone. Both are active.

I want to port the BT landline number over to VM landline phone.

I have read of the various successes and failures of this process and received conflicting advice.

Could you outline the correct process and can I start the transfer here.

Thank you for your post and welcome to the forums. 

 

It's quite a simple process when both numbers are active - as all we would need to do is submit a port form on our systems to get the ball rolling 🙂 I can send you over a private message to do that if you're happy to?

Thanks Ryan for helping me through this process of moving my Home Phone from from BT to VM.

It all happened seamless today.

Phone now working ok though the VM system.

Now the House Phone is up and running, I have discovered I have no Free Voicemail

When I dial 1571 there is a message:- "It looks like you have a problem. Your mail box is disabled".

How do I get it enabled?

Sorry to hear about the issue with your voicemail not being active.

We can add it from, it takes 24 hours to be fully workable.
I can look into this for you. 
If you don't mind, I will need to send you a private message to pass security. 
If you can check the purple envelope top right of your screen that would be great.
