Hi, I had a call on my landline yesterday saying my phone line was being cut off for fraud. Since then my landline is dead, there's no dial tone and when I call it from my mobile it no longer rings or connects. I have called Virgin Media and the advisor said there are no restrictions or suspension and my payments are up to date and they have raised it as a fault for an engineer to come out. I'm now worried that it's a scam and that they're still on the line as I've read that they can sometimes reverse charge a call. Can someone from Virgin please double check as my landline stopped working after this recorded message so it doesn't seem to be a coincidence.
