My Virgin Media services (Oomph Bundle) were installed today.
Unfortunately the engineer told me that the landline number hadn't been ported from Sky and advised me of my temporary number.
I had requested Sky to port the number and also advised Virgin Media that I wanted to keep my old landline number when I ordered the services over 3 weeks ago.
Can anyone tell me why the number wasn't ported please and is someone able to get the number ported as soon as possible please.

As long as both lines are active the number port will complete no more than 10 days after your VM line becomes active.
