Porting Number from BT to Virgin and losing the will

Hi,

After not getting very far with the support chat , Ive raised this question again.

So this is my situation:

BT say they have done their part with my phone number and say it awaits Virgin to take it over.

I have dial tone on my BT socket that rings when I call my home number, I also have dial tone coming from the back of the V360 box. I ran a call back test and it rang repeating my BT ported number back to me, but when I call it from my mobile it doesn't ring at all. So for now I have my phone plugged into my BT socket.

I requested the number to be ported when I ordered my package , but nothing yet.

This is very disappointing to a new customer.

Hi @Petespud . Thanks for posting and welcome to our community.

I am really sorry to hear your number has not been successfully ported from your previous provider.  Please can you confirm that you've not given notice to your previous provider to cancel the telephone line and that it's not pending cancellation within the next 10 working days?
