I need help!
I had my broadband and phone installed 5th December.
I placed my order two weeks before and requested my number to be ported. I called and confirmed this as well.
It didn't happen on 5th. I was told on 5th that the order hadn't been placed internally for a number port and so they would do it on 14th.
I called yesterday and spoke to a Mahesh, who told me that it would happen today at midnight and and by 8am, I should call 174 or 175 on the landline and it would confirm my requested number.
I checked this morning, it hadn't happened. I called again and spoke to an Ashish. He told me that it would happen today, but can take all day so wait till the evening.
I've checked and still nothing.
I am currently on the phone, have been passed over without notice (after explaining to the first person) and am currently speaking to a lady called Angel, (I think) and she is telling me that my account is still processing and no order for number porting has been made.
I've queried this because 3 people have told me that it will happen today and she is now telling me that there isn't even an order.
I have asked several times to speak to a manager, she's left me on hold for at least 5 minutes each time and first time just avoided the request after coming back and told me to wait till tomorrow and I have asked again and am currently on hold (it's been about 5 minutes - or more - and she's not back yet.
I'm paying VM and TalkTalk at the moment because someone isn't dealing with the number port so it is costing me a lot now.
Can anyone help me please?
So after making me wait over 15 minutes, she has come back saying her manager is unavailable and she's passing me through to the number porting team.
I can't believe that there isn't a single manager available?!
